Maidstone & Tunbridge Wells NHS Trust is located in the heart of Kent. Tunbridge Wells Hospital Is a modern single room facility that opened in 2011.We offer state of the art facilities. We are a friendly dynamic team, seeking to expand our services.
The department offers a range of invasive & non-invasive investigations including echocardiography, TOE, stress echo, contrast & bubble studies. Physiologist led exercise stress testing, ambulatory monitoring and complex invasive procedures including angiography, PCI, PPM, ICD service & supporting the chest pain clinics. We have close links to tertiary centres.
We offer Training sessions and weekly echocardiography meetings. We have excellent support from the Consultant cardiologists.
We are looking for an enthusiastic dynamic band 7 Cardiac Physiologist. Or a band 6 Cardiac Physiologist with at least 2 years’ experience in Echocardiography who has BSE accreditation. We would encourage working towards RCCP registration & some staff may wish to perform invasive & non invasive duties.
This is an opportunity for a Physiologist with substantial experience looking for greater responsibility and career development for a dynamic, highly motivated progressing band 6. Continued professional development is important to our team and post graduate training is actively encouraged.
Visits to the department are encouraged.
