An exciting opportunity has arisen within Ward 11 at our new ‘State of the Art’ single room NHS Hospital at Tunbridge wells. If you have the drive and the passion to promote high quality patient care, the patient experience and patient safety, then this will be the job for you.

We are looking for enthusiastic individual who has drive to render the best nursing care to all patients and be able to support nurses in carrying out these care. The ward provides care to elective and emergency patients undergoing elective and emergency ENT procedures and emergency acute surgical conditions.

You need to have forward thinking and flexible in your approach to managing change and possess a can do attitude. You will need to be highly motivated, with the ambition to develop yourself.

You will have the full support of the staff nurses, clinical support workers and ward manager who is keen to support and develop you to help you reach your full potential. As a Trust we are passionate about providing high standards of patient care and are looking for people with the same values.

You will be expected to attend the Trust’s Clinical Induction Programme for Clinical Support Workers (which starts on the first day of employment). The programme is full-time (please contact the CSW Induction Programme Lead if this is going to be problematic:, lasts for two weeks and will involve travelling to both Trust sites. The programme includes 2 supernumerary shifts in the clinical area (an early and a late shift), all of the other days are classroom-based and run from 9am to 5pm
