Tunbridge Wells Hospital provides care to local patients, specialities on site include; A&E, acute and speciality medicine, trauma and elective surgery, intensive care, maternity and paediatrics.

The Hospital opened in 2011 and was the first NHS Hospital to have all single rooms. The Pharmacy is spacious and modern with excellent facilities

We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated registered Pharmacy Technicians to join our friendly team and gain experience in a comprehensive range of activities:

You will receive full training and will complete rotations through; dispensary, stores and clinical duties. Training will be provided to develop and become competent in skills including; dispensing a wide range of medicines, undertaking medication histories, checking patients’ own medicines, supervisory skills and processing daily orders in the pharmacy purchasing office.

You will be a professionally qualified Pharmacy Technician holding either the BTEC or NVQ3 in Pharmaceutical Services; and registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council. Applications will be welcomed from current second year pre-registration trainee technicians.

 Please note that appointment to this post will be subject to a satisfactory Disclosure & Barring Service Check at enhanced level. (Enhanced level now includes regulated checks against vulnerable adults and children).
