An exciting opportunity has arisen within Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells NHS Trust for a Band 6 Pharmacist to join our team as part of a well-established rotational training programme at The Tunbridge Wells Hospital.
We are looking for a Band 6 Pharmacist to join our team in a post that will encompass rotations within areas such as Dispensary, Clinical Services covering various specialties, Technical Services and Medicines Information. Within each rotation you will be actively supported by senior Pharmacy staff, with responsibility for setting objectives and monitoring your progression.
You will be encouraged to develop within this role and we would support you in achieving all the required skills, knowledge and behaviours described in the Foundation Pharmacist Framework. We will also encourage you to become actively involved in training other staff, supporting the education and training initiatives across our department.
Tunbridge Wells is a vibrant town, with great shopping and nightlife, and is within easy reach of London, the channel ports and the beautiful countryside and beaches of Kent and Sussex.
We would welcome applications from existing hospital pharmacists looking to relocate, community pharmacists looking to make a career switch in to hospital pharmacy, and pre-registration pharmacists who will qualify in August 2019.
Note: Some rotations may require travel to Maidstone Hospital. A free staff shuttle bus is available for this purpose.
