“Come and join our team and help us make a difference”

Due to an ever-expanding service, including plans to develop haemato-oncology services, exciting opportunities exist within the HODU unit at Pembury. This is an opportunity for you to join our highly motivated, patient focused, forward thinking team, working within a supportive environment.

If you are motivated and enthusiastic, we may have the post you have been looking for. We have a post available for a Band 2 Clinical Support Worker.   For this post you need to have excellent communication skills, a great attitude, a caring nature and work well under pressure. You should be motivated, flexible and committed to being part of a team dedicated to providing the highest possible standards of care to our patients.

We will provide any extra training required for you to meet the needs of the service.

You will be expected to attend the Trust’s Clinical Induction Programme for Clinical Support Workers (which starts on the first day of employment). The programme is full-time (please contact the CSW Induction Programme Lead if this is going to be problematic: rallen@nhs.net), lasts for two weeks and will involve travelling to both Trust sites. The programme includes 2 supernumerary shifts in the clinical area (an early and a late shift), all of the other days are classroom-based and run from 9am to 5pm

Please note that appointment to this post will be subject to a satisfactory Disclosure & Barring Service Check at enhanced level. (Enhanced level now includes regulated checks against vulnerable adults and children).

Closing Date: Midnight, Thursday 22nd February 2018

Interviews: Friday 2nd March 2018
