An exciting opportunity has arisen to appoint an enthusiastic and highly motivated person to undertake the role of Emergency Department Assistant (EDA). we are looking for a highly motivated member of staff to join our very busy team within Accident & Emergency at the Tunbridge Wells Hospital. 

You will carry out duties working alongside Medical and Nursing staff to ensure a high quality of patient centered care is delivered.

Good communication skills towards patients and colleagues and the ability to organise the allocated work is an essential component of this post. You will be expected to maintain confidentiality and adopt a positive attitude towards staff, patients and relatives at all times, in accordance with the Trust policies and procedures, referring issues to their Line Manager as appropriate.

The role will be within the Acute Medicine Directorate located in Accident and Emergency (A&E), located at the Trust's Tunbridge Wells site, however there will be requirements to travel to the Maidstone Hospital site.The post holders will be supported to achieve their competencies to fulfill the requirements of the role.
