We are inviting internal applications for secondment to Band 6 qualified Plaster technicians.
This 6 month secondment will be an exciting opportunity to drive the plaster services forward at both Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells hospitals with support from senior colleagues and managers. This involves being visible and approachable at all times and having ability to manage the service.
In order to be considered for this secondment you need to possess leadership skills and a wide variety of clinical skills. You must have excellent communication with the ability to work using your own initiative as well as working effectively within a team. You must be an enthusiastic, forward thinking and hard-working individual who is passionate about providing high standards of care.
With support from senior colleagues you will manage the outpatient plaster service, providing direction and leadership to the plaster technicians, trainees and other clinical staff requiring the service. You will also manage the provision of services to inpatients as required.
You must hold the British Casting Certificate with accreditation from the British Orthopaedic Association and be currently registered and have evidence of CPD.
Please note that appointment to this post will be subject to a satisfactory Disclosure & Barring Service Check at enhanced level. (Enhanced level now includes regulated checks against vulnerable adults and children)

You must have appropriate UK professional registration.
