Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells NHS Trust is a large acute hospital trust, providing hospital services to around 500,000 people living in the south of west Kent and parts of north east Sussex. Based in leafy Kent, the Trust operates from two primary sites; our new state of the art Tunbridge Wells Hospital, the first all single room NHS hospital in England, and Maidstone Hospital, home to the Kent Oncology Centre, one of the leading cancer treatment centres in the southeast. The Tunbridge Wells hospital is also a level 2 trauma centre.
We are looking for dynamic and motivated physiotherapists to join our therapy team. This post offers newly recently qualified applicants an opportunity to gain broad experience in completing junior rotations – Neurology and acute Rehabilitation, Orthopaedics, Respiratory, Medical Rehabilitation and Musculoskeletal Out-Patients.
If you are looking to develop your higher Band 5 skills specifically in Respiratory or Medical Rehabilitation, and would like to secure a role focusing in one or both of these areas only, please do apply and state this in your supporting statement.
You will be supported by experienced senior staff and will have the opportunity to develop both clinically and managerially, working with junior staff and students.
The department offers a friendly and supportive working environment which actively supports Continuing Professional Development, through an established appraisal system, in-service training, and post graduate library facilities.
You must be able to travel between the sites in a timely manner.
