“Come and join our Oncology Pharmacy Team and help us to

make a difference to cancer patients”

We currently have 2x full time 37.5 hours vacancies and 1x part time 22 hours per week vacancy.

The Oncology Pharmacy Team benefits from a high profile within the Kent Cancer Centre and the Kent & Medway Cancer Network. We are always striving to move forward in order to meet the demands and challenges of an ever-evolving service.

You will work within a team of Pharmacists, Pharmacy Technicians and Assistants providing clinical pharmacy services to Oncology and Haematology patients including clinical trials and aseptic dispensing.

We are focused on maintaining and improving safety, quality and performance and as a pharmacy department we are open to new and innovative ways of working and providing quality patient care.

Following the implementation of the electronic prescribing and the reconfiguration of our service, we have been successful and currently have new posts.

We are keen to re-launch our service across the two sites and these posts would enable the successful candidates to gain experience at the Oncology Centre and at the Tunbridge Wells Hospital.

You will be a highly motivated Pharmacist with excellent interpersonal and communication skills, be able to plan and work independently as well as being a good team player with the ability to persuade and influence other healthcare professionals. A postgraduate training in clinical pharmacy and/or suitable experience in hospital, in the field of Oncology and/or Haematology are desirable.

We will welcome applications from Pharmacists looking for full time and /or part-time employment.
