The Radiology Department at Maidstone Hospital has a vacancy for a senior administrator and support secretary to join their busy and friendly team.

Radiology provides a wide range of imaging investigations within various imaging modalities, including X-Ray, CT, MRI, Nuclear Medicine and Interventional Procedures.

The duties of this post are to provide clerical and administrative duties related to the wide range of examinations and procedures undertaken in the department.  This is a complex post and will require a flexible and adaptable candidate with excellent time management skills and the ability to consistently deliver the required standard, while often working under time pressures.

You will have excellent communication skills, a pleasant telephone manner, and full computer literacy with experience of patient databases. They should have a desire to expand beyond their current experiences with a willingness to meet new challenges.

You must be flexible in their approach to work.  The core operating hours of the department are 8am-8pm Monday-Friday.  The radiology department provides a 24 hour, 7 day a week service and there will also be some weekend duties within the hours of 8am-8pm. The successful candidate will be required to work 5 x 7.5 hour shifts as required.
