Maidstone & Tunbridge Wells NHS Trust are currently seeking a Medical Staffing Assistant to work in the Medical Workforce Team within Human Resources. This individual will be required to co-ordinate Medical Staff Recruitment on a day to day basis, providing a comprehensive flexible service to meet the needs of Divisions.

This post requires a self-motivated and professional individual with the confidence and ability to work on their own initiative and as part of a team and will support Trust compliance with governance requirements, contractual requirements and all legislative and NHS Employers mandated pre-employment checks for medical staff. You will ensure that all processes are operated in accordance with relevant Trust policies and procedures.

You will be responsive and sensitive to the service needs maintaining departmental targets and Trust expectations in line with the departmental and Trust key performance indicators.

You should have an understanding of the service requirements, and an appreciation of the concerns and queries of medical employees and divisional management teams.

Part time hours may be considered.
